Who We Are
We gather as a church for the purpose of exalting Jesus while worshipping both “in Spirit and in truth.” Our Worship Ministry aims to lead people in God-honoring, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled corporate worship every week. As a team, we work hard to free the congregation from distractions in order to focus our attention all on Jesus. Through our artistic gifts, we strive to model and demonstrate biblical worship for both corporate and private settings. “Soli Deo Gloria!”
WELCOME to the worship ministry
We exist to lead people in corporate worship while demonstrating a lifestyle of Christ-centered worship on and off the platform. Our multi-generational group seeks to demonstrate the biblical principles of worship. We believe that worship is a response to God’s revelation and find our foundation on His Word.

The Longview Point Worship Choir recorded this project to encourage the church body to worship outside the walls of the local church. This album features songs such as ‘Yet Not I But Through Christ in Me’, ‘Endless Praise’, and ‘God So Loved’. Click below to purchase a CD or download code. You may also purchase a copy in the church office. All proceeds go to support missions.
WORSHIP CHOIR
The Point Worship Choir leads each weekend in our 9:30 & 11 a.m. services. They also lead in special productions, Nights of Worship, and multi-generational services. This passionate group of worshippers come from all walks of life and every experience level. All are welcome – no audition required!
Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30pm in the Student Suite. Come join us!
BAND & ORCHESTRA

Kids choir
We understand that not every kid will grow up to be a musician. It is our prayer, however, that every kid grows up to be a worshipper of Jesus Christ. Kids Choir is a vibrant ministry that teaches kids K-6 what it means to worship Jesus in Spirit and in truth. Through current and theologically sound songs, Biblical principles and truths are instilled in the lives of our children. This group meets every Wednesday from 5:20-5:50 p.m. in the upstairs discipleship classrooms.

Student Choir
The Student Choir aims to engage students in life-transforming ministry while teaching biblical principles of worship. We exist to support the Student and Worship ministries of The Point and seek to ultimately fulfill the mission of the church – “to expand His Kingdom across the street and around the world.” Through our artistic gifts, we strive to model and demonstrate biblical worship for both corporate and private settings. This group meets every Wednesday in Room 215 from 5:20 – 5:50 p.m.

Student Worship Team
This teams consists of gifted students currently participating in the Student Ministry, and leads worship every Wednesday evening for student services. Students interested in serving should fill out the form below!
PRODUCTION TEAM
Are you skilled in carpentry or design? Our Production and Design Team works diligently to collaborate and build new stage designs. From special productions to giving the stage a new look, this teams pulls together to create a set that fits the vision of our Church Leadership. Interested in serving? MEDIA
Our Media Team exists to free worshippers from distractions so that all focus and attention is on Christ alone. From mixing audio to operating cameras, all of our media positions play an integral role in the ministry of the church. Experience is not required for some volunteer positions – training is offered.
