Welcome to Kids Choir!
Welcome to the Kids’ Choir at The Point! We understand that not every kid will grow up to be a musician. It is our prayer, however, that every kid grows up to be a worshipper of Jesus Christ. Kids Choir is a vibrant ministry that teaches kids K-6 what it means to worship Jesus in Spirit and in truth. Through current and theologically sound songs, Biblical principles and truths are instilled in the lives of our children.
Why kids choir?
- We have the responsibility to train our children to be worshippers of the Living God.
- We believe that joy comes from the responsibility of serving the Church. Kids Choir allows children to serve the Church through leading the congregation in corporate worship.
- Kids Choir is a training ground for our next generation of worship leaders on the platform.
- Multi-generational worship embodies the entire community of the Church. Children are an expressive addition to services and exemplify pure, childlike faith.
- Music is a great tool for memorization! Through the music we sing, our children will be taught and reminded of Biblical truths.

FAQ’s
What time does Kid’s Choir meet?
Every Wednesday evening from 5:20-5:50pm during the school year. We will occasionally have weekend rehearsals with our adult choir for special events and productions. Check out the calendar for specific times.
Who can be in Kid’s Choir?
Children in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Where are rehearsals?
We will rehearse in separate groups (K-3 and 4-6) in 2nd floor discipleship classrooms. Please look for the colored banners at the doors.
Will my child miss out on other children’s ministry events?
Nope! Our rehearsals take place before all midweek activities. Kids enrolled in choir will be walked directly from rehearsal to the kid’s wing for midweek service.
Does enrollment cost?
The registration fee for Kids’ Choir is $10 per child.
When will the kids lead in worship?
Our kids will lead worship services quarterly in all 3 services for our “Family Worship Days.” They will also participate in special events such as nights of worship, and Christmas and Easter programs.
How do I register my kid?

Can adults sign-up to volunteer?
Absolutely! We have many ways that youth and adults can volunteer. Click the volunteer link below and follow all instructions. Every volunteer must have a completed background check before serving. Instructions are given in the form.
What do rehearsals look like?
Rehearsals are high energy and fast-paced! We sing, dance, and do quick Christ-centered devotionals. Upon arrival, kids must be signed-in by their guardian. At 5:50pm, kids will be walked over to the Children’s Ministry wing. No further sign-in will be needed.
