Starting Point
Starting Point is a required class for those interested in membership at The Point or for those wanting to learn more about our family of faith. Starting Point is offered monthly Sundays or Wednesdays. For more information, contact Pastor Charles for details.
Baptism Service
Baptism services are held monthly in the morning services. Children 12 years old and younger are required to complete the Following Jesus Path Seminar before participating in baptism. For questions about Following Jesus, contact Pastor Kevin.
kids choir
Kids Choir is for all children ages Kindergarten – 6th Grade. This group meets every Wednesday from 5:20-5:50p.m. in C200 for an action packed time of worship. They lead in worship periodically throughout the year.
student choir
Student Choir is for all students ages 7th – 12th Grade. This group meets every Wednesday from 5:20-5:50p.m. in the Student Suite. They lead in Sunday morning services as well as special church and community events.

Better: A Study of Hebrews
Led by Vera Anne Saulters, 10 weeks beginning January 15, $16
In this 10-session verse-by-verse study of Hebrews, learn how Christ is the substance of the shadowy truths the Old Testament records. Discover how He fulfills and completes the work of angels, prophets, priests, and ceremonial laws, establishing a better covenant. In Christ alone, we have hope and salvation. He alone is the radiance of the glory of God. In Him alone we have access to God the Father. He alone is better!
Hosea: Love Changes Everything
Led by Mary Lynn McLaughlin, 8 weeks beginning January 15, $22
Hosea is deeply personal and passionate love story yet remains a difficult story. As an account full of harsh judgment unfolds, we find in its midst a rare and pure gem, the truest and purest of loves. Hosea preached his own life message using his marriage as the sermon illustration. The study of Hosea looks deeply at that message. You will be guided to understand but more especially to apply the message of the prophet of love.
How to Study God's Word using Phillippians
Led by Ashley Coleman, 10 weeks beginning January 15, $10
So often when we approach the Bible, we bring our heart, soul, and strength yet lack the confidence and “how to” of bible study discipline to love Him with all of our minds. Together, we will learn bible study skills, practice new methods, and glean wisdom from our sisters in Christ as we look at the book of Philippians. Bring your own Bible; study materials will be provided.
Joshua: Winning the Worry Battle
Led by Joann Bishop, 7 weeks beginning January 27, $11
Have you ever tried to fight worry with faith and felt you were losing the battle? We know we shoulnd’t worry, but the reality is we all do at times. In this bible study on the book of Joshua, we will join God’s people as they arrive on the edge of the promised land only to find themselves in hostile territory, faced with fear and uncertainty. Through in-depth study of how God gave the Israelites victory over their enemies and generously blessed them, too, we’ll be equipped with biblical wisdom, encouragement and practical tools that will enable us to overcome our daily worry struggles, as well as the bigger battles fear that we face.

One of the most important ministries a Christian can have is discipleshiop! Secrets Savored is an excellent tool in carrying out this biblical mandate. In a warm and inviting home setting, all women are led to discover and practice godly living.
Transforming Grace: Living Confidently in God’s Unfailing Love
Led by Deb Sprecher, 12 weeks beginning January 15, $15
Grace is amazing because it is God’s provision for when we fall short of His standards. Unfortunately, too many of us embrace grace for our salvation but then leave it behind in our everday lives. Live confidently in God’s unfailing love as you learn about the suffiency of grace, holiness as a gift of God’s grace, what it means to appropriate God’s grace, and our calling to be free. Abandon the treadmill of performance and step into a daily life of guilt-free intimacy with our Creator.
