Sarah’s Sisters provides a space to help and encourage women struggling with infertility, secondary infertility, pregnancy loss, and adoption or foster care related challenges. Our infertility support group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at The Point.
We live in an area where, statistically, many couples are of childbearing years. The median age in Desoto County is 36.7 years, and in Hernando, it is 35. In our country, one in eight couples are struggling with infertility; this equates to approximately 6.7 million individuals. Additionally, one in four pregnancies ends in miscarriage. Galatians 6 calls us to bear one another’s burdens, and our hope with Sarah’s Sisters is the same.
Sarah’s Sisters is open to the community, and we would love any woman in need of a prayerful community to join us. If you are willing to share your journey through infertility and/or adoption, please reach out to Amy Stewart.
