DRIVE-IN SERVICE - WEATHER PERMITTING

This Sunday, we will have a Drive-In service at 10 a.m. where we will worship together through music and message from our vehicles. *Please note: The building will be open for access to bathrooms. Also, lawn chairs are permitted with proper social distancing.


ONLINE SERVICE

Our service will be available to watch at 10 a.m. on our Facebook page, Youtube channel, and on our website. You can watch the service from the comfort of your home and worship together as a family.

TENTATIVE PLANS FOR MOVING FORWARD

  • MAY
    • May 24 & 31: Continue Online Services & Drive-In Services (Weather permitting) *Sitting in chairs outside IS PERMITTED at the Drive-In Service. Bathrooms will be available as needed. Please maintain appropriate distance.
  • JUNE
    • June 7 - Outdoor Service with Baptism Service at 10 a.m.
      • This service will be held in the back parking lot. Chairs or blankets may be used or you may stay in your vehicle, if preferred.
      • The Baptism Service will happen in the lake. Please contact the church office at 662.449.1044 to participate.
    • June 14 - June 28- Return to Worship Services in the Sanctuary (With some adjustments)
      • Services will be held at 8:15, 9:30, and 11 a.m.
      • The 8:15 a.m. service will be reserved for those at-risk.
        • At risk may be determined by age, health or physical condition, any person with special needs, etc.
      • Services will be kept at half the capacity of our Worship Center.
      • Over flow rooms will be available if needed.
      • Special attention will be given to the cleanliness of our facilities.
      • We will minimize contact as much as possible. 
      • The Point Cafe will remain closed to minimize contact.
      • Services will be somewhat shorter to allow for time between services to minimize crowding in common areas.
  • WEDNESDAY EVENINGS
    • Normal Wednesday evening activities will not resume at this time. Announcements will be made when this changes.
    • The Student Ministry may have some outdoor activities on Wednesday evenings beginning in June.
  • CONNECT GROUPS
    • Adult Connect Groups will begin meeting June 14.
    • It is up to the individual groups to determine whether they meet on campus, in a home, or if they continue meeting via Zoom.
  • PRESCHOOL MINISTRY
    • The Preschool Ministry will not meet at this time. Announcements will be made when this changes.
    • Children are welcome to attend worship services.
  • CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
    • A NEW MINISTRY! KidsPoint Summer Connect will begin June 8. Children in 1st-3rd grades will meet each Monday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. at the fire pit behind the church for fun and activities. Children in 4th-6th grades will meet on Tuesday evenings at the same time and place beginning June 9. 
    • Kids Camp at Dorroh Lake registration is open now! Register before June 7 to receive early pricing ($130 per child with $200 family max).
  • STUDENT MINISTRY
    • The Student Ministry may have some outdoor activities on Wednesday evenings beginning in June.
    • Student Connect Groups will continue to meet. 
    • It is up to individual groups to determine whether they continue to meet via Zoom or outdoors with social distancing.
  • CHOIR
    • Choir will not resume at this time. Announcements will be made when this changes.

We encourage you to do what is best for you and your family. We are ready for the day when we can meet together with no restrictions. Until that time, we will do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of everyone on our campus. We understand and support those decisions you make as a family and continue to ask God to bless our family of faith in these interesting times.
